Noor Bronstring (2004) is an illustrator and self-described visual journalist from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Ever since she could hold a pencil in her hands, she’s been using illustration as a way to put big feelings onto paper.

Her work draws inspiration from conversations with people she meets, the body, and nature. Whether she’s using ink, pencils or collage, she always finds a way to tell a sensitive story.

Het Huis van Betekenis is a vibrant illustration hub and creative sanctuary from Utrecht where established names and fresh, upcoming artists connect. This autumn and winter, they are joining forces with Katoenclub for an exclusive seasonal takeover.

Guided by the theme ‘Free Your Bird’, sixteen creators embraced pure analogue craftsmanship using pens, markers, and pencils. Challenged to channel their inner bird, they created a refreshing tribute to artistic freedom, authenticity, and self-expression.
