About the Artist
Merel Zwarts is an artist, art pedagogue and researcher living and working in Utrecht. She employs a variety of public expressions such as drawings, workshops, prints or installations, with the purpose of stimulating human interaction. Her drawings, made with felt pencils, scissors and paper, playfully depict social topics as ecology, art history and feminism.
